It’s a couple of months since our project came to an end, so I think it’s time to sum everything up and provide you with a letter you are welcome to use as a reference if you wish.

We are very happy with the (new) house you have built for us. We can both see that it has been built with quality. We would like to thank you and your ‘subbies’ for that.

We would be very happy to provide an accurate and positive reference for you to any potential prospects you have in the pipeline this year or into the future. If they also want a quick tour, we would be happy to do this too (by appointment). We are still putting the final touches to the interior decorating but we are nearly there now.

We found Vanda to be a professional building service. We were relieved that the project ran close to budget and that the job was reasonably close to projected time for us to be out of the rental property (only an extra 6 weeks) as paying rent, whilst simultaneously paying for renovations, is horrible. We are glad we took a ‘fixed price’ approach as I think it minimized any ‘issues’ between us as the owners, and you as the builder, and helped with our budgeting. I think that any problems we had between us were basically small ones, which, in the scheme of things on such a large residential construction job, were to be expected and were solved to mutual satisfaction. Thank you also for replacing the broken heated towel rail in the bathroom so quickly and after the project had finished and final payment had been made. this shows the professional approach to your work extends to ‘after sales’ service which is very commendable.

We really hope that all goes well with Vanda in the future. Or experience with Vanda was a good one and we would be happy to recommend Vanda to Others, and use Vanda again ourselves should we require building services in future.
