Reimagining a Family Home in Frenchs Forest

Vanda Constructions completed this home renovation Frenchs Forest project on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. We reimagined the existing home’s layout and finishes throughout. Importantly, we delivered a more open, functional living space. At the same time, we didn’t lose the character of the original residence.

More Open, More Functional

An older home’s layout can often hold a family back. As a result, we focused closely on how the space actually functioned day to day. In particular, we looked at where walls or awkward layouts were limiting how the family used their home. Consequently, we opened up key living areas to create a more natural, functional flow throughout the house.

Keeping the Character That Matters

This home renovation Frenchs Forest project reflects how we approach every renovation. Specifically, we don’t treat character and function as opposing goals. Instead, we look for ways to improve how a home works without stripping away what made it feel like home in the first place.
